About
I’m Mark Nwaodor, and I’m on a mission to live a life of purpose, passion, and fulfillment — and to help others do the same.
My journey into technology hasn’t been traditional. I studied Petroleum Engineering, but I never felt truly fulfilled in that path. Over time, I realised I was more drawn to problem-solving, systems, and security, which led me to pivot into cybersecurity.
Today, I’m actively building my career in cybersecurity with a strong focus on defensive security. I hold the CompTIA Security+ certification, I’m part of the MYDFIR SOC community, and I spend most of my time learning through hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios. I’m currently progressing towards the CREST CPSA, with the long-term goal of becoming a highly skilled security and detection professional.
Beyond the technical side, I’m also a digital creator. I create and share content across platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube, where I document my learning journey, break down complex cybersecurity topics into simple ideas, and encourage others who are looking to pivot into tech or grow in their careers. I strongly believe in learning in public and helping people realise that it’s okay to start from zero.
Outside of tech, fitness and boxing play a big role in my life. They’ve taught me discipline, consistency, and mental resilience — values that directly shape how I approach learning, work, and personal growth.
